Built for two kinds of seasonal lots

Run a Christmas tree lot, a pumpkin patch, or both under one roof — we quote either, or the combination.

Christmas Tree Lots

General liability coverage is generally intended to help protect a tree lot from customer slip-and-falls, tree-stand mishaps, and other everyday risks — including lots that offer a “cut your own tree” experience.

Pumpkin Patches

Coverage is typically structured around the everyday operation of a patch — walk-through fields, wagons, and seasonal foot traffic. Add-ons like hay rides or petting zoos are asked about separately so they get underwritten correctly.

Doing Both?

Plenty of seasonal lots run a tree lot in November and December and a pumpkin patch in September and October — often on the same property. Our application lets you check both, so one submission covers your whole season.

Only open a few weeks a year? That's the point.

Seasonal coverage is available for businesses that only operate part of the year — you shouldn't have to pay for a full 12 months of coverage when your lot is only open for a few weeks. Tell us your season on the application and request a term that matches it.

For landlords & property owners

Need a Certificate of Insurance for your landlord?

Many shopping centers, churches, farms, and other property owners require proof of insurance — a Certificate of Insurance (COI) — before they'll let a seasonal lot set up on their property. Our application has a dedicated section for this: tell us who needs to be named as an additional insured, and what limits your landlord requires.

How the limits typically work

Standard general liability coverage is typically structured as $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate. Check your lease or contract with the landlord to confirm that limit is sufficient for their requirements.

If a landlord requires higher limits, those can be quoted — just note the requirement on your application and it will be reviewed.
